The combination of spray foam insulation, moisture barrier, and custom-built barriers provided enhanced comfort and protection against moisture-related issues and potential pest infestations.
Scope of Work:
1. Moisture Barrier Installation:
• Installed a moisture barrier on the crawl space floor (150x).
2. Spray Foam Insulation:
• Applied R22.5 closed-cell spray foam (3 inches) to the walls (160x).
3. Crawl Space Ceiling Enhancement:
• Worked on the crawl space ceiling, focusing on the enclosed area (135x)
4. Additional Custom Work:
• Constructed a pitched ice and shield plywood barrier to prevent water ingress into the crawl space (1x) Installed and secured customer-provided mesh under the vapor barrier to prevent rodent entry (1x).

Upon completion of the project, Mr. Jerry experienced a significant improvement in his crawl space environment.
