The Home Energy Rebate Program offers instant discounts to reduce upfront costs for qualifying energy-saving upgrades.
- Rebate Maximum: Up to $1,200 per weatherization project.
- Instant Savings: Rebates are issued as immediate discounts at the time of service.
- Approved Contractors: Work must be performed by certified program contractors.

Nicor Gas Weatherization 2026 | Chicago Suburbs Rebate
Save year-round on energy bills with instant discounts for qualifying residential weatherization and efficiency upgrades.
- Program Period: Valid for installations from January 1 – December 31, 2026.
- Sealing Rebates: Up to $500 for air sealing and $600 for duct sealing.
- Insulation Savings: Rebates up to $400 for attic and $350 for wall projects.
- Window Bonus: $100 rebate per ENERGY STAR® qualified window attachments & replacement.
- Eligibility: Available to residential customers in the Nicor Gas service territory.
